Plitvice Lakes National Park

Afar just published an article (link below) entitled, “UNESCO Just Announced 21 new World Heritage Sites” – the photos from our visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park give you a glimpse of the waterfalls connecting 16 beautiful lakes, the country’s biggest attraction outside of the Adriatic Coast.  Not a surprise that it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, too.
